04/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission approved 10 action programmes in the 8 Member States (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Austria and the United Kingdom) with a view to promoting the consumption of apples and citrus fruit. The total cost of measures adopted is EUR 9.75 million including 60% (5.85 million) are financed by the Commission.
