Strasbourg, 04/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan confirmed at a press conference in Strasbourg on Wednesday the conviction he had already expressed when meeting the EU Troika in New York that the European Union and the United Nations could and should cooperate more closely, in future, both in favour of peace and security and in favour of the world's least developed countries.
