First interparliamentary meetings on Tobin tax on Wednesday in Brussels - French Presidency called on to tackle the issue

Brussels, 26/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - Several MEPs, headed by Harlem Désir (French Socialist), are organising a one-day debate in Brussels, on Wednesday, on the "Tobin tax", in the hope of increasing the awareness of the French EU Presidency on a theme that is stirring feelings more and more.
