Brussels, 05/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Commission held, at the request of its president Romano Prodi, an exchange of views of a political kind on the statement on the first few months of its activities, projects, strategy and cohesion. All the Commissioners present in Brussels took part in the discussion which lasted almost two and a half hours, without outside witnesses as even the spokesman and the interpreters had been invited to leave.
