ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automobile

The Swedish manufacturer VOLVO has announced that it was purchasing the shares in the British automobile technical company TWR - TOM WALKINSHAW RACNG in their joint-venture AUTONOVA for 100 million Swedish kroner. Under the agreement, 26% of TWR shares will be handed over to VOLVO immediately, and the remaining 25% by 2003.
