ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

LANDSBANKI, the largest Icelandic bank in terms of assets, is on the verge of merging with BUNADARBANKI. The rapprochement between these two entities would give rise to an company with 311 bn Icelandic kroner in assets and a stock market capitalisation of 57 bn Icelandic kroner.
