- Mexico: Investments of foreign capital in Mexico totalled USD 11.568 billion in 1999, announced Trade Minister Herminio Blanco, exceeding forecasts of USD 10 billion. American and Canadian enterprises are the principal partners with 67%, followed by the EU with 16.2%.
