ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) packaging

IMP - IMPRESS METAL PACKAGING (annual turnover one billion euro), the second largest European metal packaging company, has announced the acquisition of FEREMBAL SA (turnover around EUR 200 million in 1998). The new entity that will be created from this move will have 39 production sites in 14 countries and 7,100 employees and will make a turnover of EUR 1.2 billion.
