Strasbourg, 28/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption on Thursday of a report by British Labour member Lord Judd on the conflict in Chechnya, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe noted that Russia is violating certain of its most important obligations arising from the European Convention on Human Rights, international humanitarian law and commitments made during its accession to the Council of Europe.
