21/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - European Parliament President Nicole Fontaine is to meet Yasser Arafat on the occasion of a visit to Brussels during which the latter will, in particular, brief the EU Council on developments in the Middle East Peace Process (see above). Mrs. Fontaine will meet the President of the Palestinian Authority on Monday 24 January, at 16.00 hrs..
