28/07/2026 (Agence Europe) – The European Union has decided to extend both of its missions in CAR but only a few months. According to a legal act published in the Official Journal of the EU on Monday, 27 July, the European Union CSDP military training mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM RCA), whose mandate was expiring on 19 September, has been extended three months, until this coming 31 December, in order “to allow for the completion of the holistic strategic review of EUTM RCA and of the European Union CSDP Advisory Mission in the Central African Republic” (EUAM RCA). As for the latter mission, it has been extended until 7 November—also according to a legal act published on 27 July.
