Brussels, 07/05/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 May, France and Kenya will co-host the ‘Africa Forward Summit: Africa-France Partnerships for Innovation and Growth’, which will focus on economic issues, entrepreneurship and youth. French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto will welcome a succession of African heads of state and government, sports and cultural figures, as well as executives from major French corporations. “This event will be particularly actionable, because we’ve shifted our approach; in terms of investment, business promotion and economic partnerships. [...] We have no reason to be ashamed of French corporations being in Africa, that their presence there is firmly established”, an Elysée Palace source told a small group of journalists, including Agence Europe, on Wednesday 6 May.
