05/05/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 5 May, without debate, the Ecofin Council adopted a revision of Denmark’s post-Covid-19 recovery plan, validating the modification of thirteen measures for objective reasons (see EUROPE 13859/35). Calling on the Member States to speed up the implementation of their national plans by the 31 August deadline, the European Commissioner for Economy, Valdis Dombrovskis, welcomed the fact that to date “€400 billion” of European funds had been disbursed under the European recovery plan, Next Generation EU. On Monday, the European Commission adopted guidelines for finalising national recovery plans (see EUROPE 13861/5).
