French public deficit set at 5.1% of GDP by end of 2025

Brussels, 30/03/2026 (Agence Europe)By the end of 2025, France’s public deficit had been reduced from 5.8% in 2024 to 5.1% of national GDP, according to the French statistics institute (INSEE) on Friday 27 March, whereas the target for reducing the excessive deficit was 5.4%.
