Air passenger rights - EU Council grants revised mandate to Cyprus Presidency for negotiations with European Parliament

On Friday 13 March, Member States’ ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) granted the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union a new negotiating mandate concerning air passenger rights. It will meet the European Parliament negotiators (trilogue) on Monday 23 March (see EUROPE B13816A17).

“The Presidency has received a broadly supported mandate to continue negotiations on the regulation on air passenger rights”, said its spokesperson.
