Green light from EU Council for a targeted amendment to EU electoral law

13/03/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 13 March, the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union unanimously approved a request from the European Parliament for a targeted amendment to the European Union's Electoral Law to allow a pregnant MEP to entrust her vote to another MEP (see EUROPE B13751A8).
