US Supreme Court ruling - EU continues to “advocate for low tariffs”

20/02/2026 (Agence Europe) – In response to the US Supreme Court’s ruling on Friday 20 February that US tariffs were illegal, a spokesman for the European Commission, Olof Gill, said that he was “in close contact with the US administration as we seek clarity on the steps they intend to take in response to this ruling”.
