Tuomas Saarenheimo reappointed head of ‘Eurogroup’ working group

16/02/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 16 February, the euro area’s finance ministers reappointed Tuomas Saarenheimo of Finland as head of the Eurogroup working group within the Council of the European Union for a further two years, until the end of March 2028 (see EUROPE B13357A32). This group prepares the meetings of the euro area’s finance ministers.
