In-depth investigation into Danish and Swedish financial support for postal company PostNord Logistics launched

On Friday 13 February, the European Commission opened an in-depth investigation into the Danish and Swedish capital injections of around €15.4 million into PostNord Logistics.

This initiative follows the partial annulment in 2023 by the EU General Court (case T-525/20) of a Commission decision from 2020 rejecting a complaint alleging unlawful aid granted by the PostNord AB group, 60% owned by Sweden and 40% by Denmark, to its subsidiary PostNord Logistics (see EUROPE B12788A5).
