European Commission announces finalists for European urban mobility awards

13/02/26 (Agence Europe) – In a press release issued on Thursday 12 February, the European Commission announced the six finalists for the ‘Europeanmobilityweek’ and ‘Mobilityaction’ awards. These two awards recognise initiatives carried out in 2025 that have raised public awareness of sustainable urban mobility and mobility management plans, under the theme ‘Mobility for all’. The finalists for first prize are Innsbruck (Austria), Limassol (Cyprus), and Riga (Latvia). The finalists for the second prize are the Italian autonomous province of Bolzano/Bozen - South Tyrol, Turkish football club Eskişehirspor Kulübü and Italian exhibition centre SiciliaFiera. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony organised by the European Commission in Brussels on Tuesday 17 March. (AD)
