02/02/26 (Agence Europe) – Nearly fifty major Italian groups, trade associations representing a third of Italian companies and research centres will be meeting at The Square on Wednesday 4 February (5 pm) to mark the second annual Connact event, a platform designed to promote dialogue between the Italian private sector and the European institutions. Entitled ‘The Italian System and the priorities of the European Union’, the aim of this edition is to strengthen Italy’s presence in the European institutions, consolidate a structured and proactive dialogue with public decision-makers and integrate the strategic priorities of the ‘Italian System’ into the European agenda. Thirteen thematic round tables will structure the discussions around key issues such as CAP reform, security and defence, democracy and fundamental rights, finance, media and digital regulation, and the pharmaceutical industry.
