Brussels, 26/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – At the meeting of European fisheries ministers on Monday 26 January, Ireland, supported by Poland and Latvia, denounced (https://aeur.eu/f/kf1) the agreement reached at the end of 2025 by four Coastal States on a total allowable catch (TAC) for mackerel that disregards the advice of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) and excludes the EU (see EUROPE B13779A12).
