20/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 20 January, the European Commission announced that it had appointed Tina Svendstrup (Danish) as Director for Accountability, Transparency, and Protection of the Union’s Financial Interests within its Directorate-General for Budget (DG BUDG). This decision will take effect on 1 February.
