In the third quarter of 2025, seasonally-adjusted GDP rose by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.4% in the European Union, compared with the previous quarter, according to an estimate published by the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Friday 5 December.
Denmark (2.3%) recorded the highest rise in national GDP, followed by Luxembourg and Sweden (both 1.1%). Decreases were seen in Ireland, Finland (-0.3% each) and Romania (-0.2%).
