On Tuesday 2 December, the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) published its annual index. According to this report, which measures gaps in various areas - work, money, access to knowledge, time and power - the EU scores 63.4 out of 100 overall, and at the current rate it would take at least fifty years to achieve full equality.
