10/11/25 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 30 October, the European Commission launched a new ‘Perform Europe’ call for proposals. €2 million has been made available to continue the development of a platform to support cross-border touring and digital distribution of the performing arts in the countries taking part in the Creative Europe programme. The aim of this new phase (2026-2028) is to promote more sustainable, inclusive and innovative distribution models. The selected beneficiary - either an organisation or a consortium from the sector - will be responsible for managing the platform, organising calls for projects via cascade grants (at least 70% of the budget) and conducting capacity-building, mentoring, networking and sector analysis activities. Applications, open to organisations established in countries participating in Creative Europe, must be submitted via the funding and calls for tender portal (https://aeur.eu/f/jd8 ). (NP)
