Andrius Kubilius calls for a European strategy for sustainable peace

On Sunday 9 November, the European Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, called on his website for an EU strategy towards Russia, or a European strategy for sustainable peace on the continent.

In his view, “sustainable peace on the European continent depends on the future of Russia. And we Europeans can shape that future or we can create the conditions for Russian citizens to change that future”.
