Níkos Christodoulídis announces informal European summit to be held on 23 and 24 April 2026

The President of Cyprus, Níkos Christodoulídis, has announced that an informal European summit will be held in Cyprus on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 April 2026 as part of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2026. The announcement was made on Monday 20 October on the fringes of the summit of Mediterranean countries (MED9) being held in Portorož, Slovenia.
