European Commission rejects ECI registration calling for initiatives on ethics of elected representatives in EU

29/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 29 September, the European Commission announced its decision not to register a European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) entitled ‘Ethical selection of European representatives’, on the grounds that the initiative does not meet the required regulatory conditions.
