Committee of Regions analyses state of integration of ’European Green Deal’ in EU candidate countries and potential candidate countries

On Wednesday 3 September, the Committee of the Regions’ (CoR) Commission for the Environment, Climate Change and Energy published a study on the adoption of European environmental, climate and energy legislation in candidate countries.

The report covers ten countries (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine) and lists among its objectives a 55% minimum reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and climate...
