25/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – The Council of the EU has decided to extend for an additional year, to 27 July 2026, the sanctions adopted in response to Iran’s military support for Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and for armed groups and entities in the Middle East and the Red Sea region. 20 people, all Iranians, 20 organisations, including two Russians, and the Iranian ports of Amirabad and Anzali are affected by these restrictive measures.
