25/06/25 (Agence Europe) – The ChemSec Marketplace platform now includes over a hundred new alternatives to PFASs (eternal pollutants), announced the NGO ChemSec on Wednesday 25 June. Launched in 2017, the online platform connects solution providers offering safer chemicals with companies looking to replace hazardous chemicals. With this “major update”, the NGO said that its platform had become “a key resource for the industry”. Among the hundred new alternatives are “cutting-edge solutions for complex applications in textiles, electronics and food packaging”, according to ChemSec. “This update offers safe, ready-to-use solutions for companies that want to act now and remain competitive in a rapidly changing regulatory environment”, said Dr. Jonatan Kleimark, Head of Sustainability at ChemSec.
