MEPs approve agreement with EU Council on new mandate of European Maritime Safety Agency

24/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 June, the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) approved (35 votes in favour, 2 against and 2 abstentions) the agreement with the EU Council to revise and update the mandate of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
