New countervailing duty on Indian optical fibre cables

13/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 11 June, the European Commission published an implementing regulation imposing a countervailing duty on imports of optical fibre cables from India. In December 2024, it had already imposed anti-dumping tariffs on these same products (see EUROPE B13546A30). The new countervailing duty ranges from 3.7% to 8.1% of the net border price.
