23/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – A week after the meeting of the European Political Community (EPC) in Tirana (Albania), the President of the European Council, António Costa, announced on Friday 23 May the countries where the next EPC meetings will be held. So, after a meeting in October in Copenhagen (Denmark), the 2026 editions will be held in Armenia, then in Ireland, the 2027 meetings in Switzerland, then in Greece, and the 2028 meetings in Azerbaijan, then in Latvia. Therefore, when they are organised in an EU Member State, they will be held in the countries holding the Presidency of the EU Council at the time of the meeting. The EPC, which was first held in October 2022, brings together some forty heads of state or government from across Europe, with the aim of fostering political dialogue and cooperation and strengthening the continent’s security, stability and prosperity.
