20/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Commissioner for the Environment, Water Resilience and the Circular Economy, Jessika Roswall, is in Rome from 20 to 22 March to discuss water resilience as part of the sixth Value of Water Forum. She is due to meet the Italian Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Frattin, as well as the Director General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), Qu Dongyu, and ACEA, the Italian operator of water management and integrated water management services. The European Commission will publish its strategy for water resilience in spring 2025. The European Parliament, for its part, is working on an own-initiative report on water resilience to influence the European Commission (see EUROPE 13570/5). (FS)
