20/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – The total value of trade via the ‘solidarity lanes’' linking Ukraine to the European Union since May 2022 was estimated at around €211 billion in January 2025, according to the latest figures published by the European Commission on Wednesday 19 February (see EUROPE 13563/30). Of this total value, around €62 billion corresponds to Ukrainian exports, versus around €149 billion in EU exports to Ukraine. Since May 2022, the Solidarity Lanes have enabled Ukraine to export around 174 million tonnes (Mt) of goods, according to data from Ukrainian customs records. This includes the export of around 89 million tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products, including around 83 million tonnes of cereals, oilseeds and related products, and around 85 million tonnes of non-agricultural products, including ores, steel and related products.
