European Commission approves two new geographical indications from Romania and Turkey

23/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 23 January, the European Commission approved the registration of two new agricultural designations. This is the Romanian Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) ‘Jidvei’, which designates white, rosé, red, sparkling and liqueur wines produced from grape varieties grown in the Alba region.
