European Commission launches call for proposals for a European festival of journalism and media freedom and pledges €3 million

06/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission is granting €3 million in EU funding for a European festival of media freedom. It launched its call for proposals on Monday 6 January. Publishers, NGOs, universities, research centres and the media have until 1 March to submit their proposals.
