Euro area inflation at 2.2% in November

19/12/2024 (Agence Europe) – The annual inflation rate in the euro area was 2.2% in November, compared with 2.0% in October, according to figures published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat). In the EU, it stood at 2.5%, compared with 2.3% in October. The lowest rates were observed in Ireland (0.5%), Lithuania and Luxembourg (both 1.1%), while the highest were recorded in Romania (5.4%), Belgium (4.8%) and Croatia (4.0%).
