European Commission presents socio-economic policy recommendations for 2025 focusing on competitiveness

On Wednesday 18 December, the European Commission unveiled the second set of proposals designed to launch the 2025 exercise of the ‘European Semester’ process, after presenting the first set of proposals on budgetary policy at the end of November (see EUROPE B13532A11).
