European Council officially approves ‘von der Leyen II’ Commission

28/11/24 (Agence Europe) – The day after the election of the new college of Commissioners by the European Parliament (see EUROPE 13533/1), on Thursday 28 November the European Council officially appointed the European Commission, which will be chaired by Germany’s Ursula von der Leyen for a term running from 1 December 2024 to 31 October 2029.
