European Council officially approves ‘von der Leyen II’ Commission

28/11/24 (Agence Europe) – The day after the election of the new college of Commissioners by the European Parliament (see EUROPE B13533A1), on Thursday 28 November the European Council officially appointed the European Commission, which will be chaired by Germany’s Ursula von der Leyen for a term running from 1 December 2024 to 31 October 2029.
