27/11/24 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 November, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) signed grant agreements for more than €67 million in support from the ‘Connecting Europe Facility’ (CEF) for previously selected renewable energy cross-border projects (CB RES), including three studies and two works initiatives, in order to speed up their implementation. The main projects are UNITED HEAT (a biomass heating plant and district heating network between Poland and Germany), CICERONE-Ammonia (an ammonia import facility in the Netherlands), SLOWP (evaluation of an offshore wind farm in Estonia) and ULP-RES WP (development of a wind farm between Estonia and Latvia).
