European Parliament does not object to delegated regulation on protecting dolphins

27/11/24 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 27 November in Strasbourg, the European Parliament rejected a proposal by the Patriots for Europe (PfE) group to object to a delegated regulation containing measures to protect dolphins during fishing in the Bay of Biscay (see EUROPE B13532A9). The request to object was supported by 123 MEPs (including 34 members of the ECR group), while 511 rejected it (with 41 abstentions).
