There is a “lack of will on part of Member States” to introduce new EU own resources, says Danuše Nerudova

Danuše Nerudova MEP (EPP, Czech) was appointed rapporteur on new own resources for the European Parliament on Wednesday 2 October.

She stressed the importance of new own resources, given that the EU will have to “repay its debts linked to the post-Covid fund, but also ensure targeted investment in competitiveness and security”.
