Spanish regulator CNMC fines Neuro Energía y Gestión €1,081,502 for manipulating Spanish electricity market

08/10/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 4 October, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) welcomed the decision by Spain’s national regulator, the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), to impose a fine of €1,081,502 on Neuro Energía y Gestión for manipulating the Spanish electricity market between 23 August 2022 and 15 March 2023.
