Koen Lenaerts re-elected as President of Court until October 2027

08/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – Following the partial renewal of the membership of the European Court of Justice, Belgian Koen Lenaerts was re-elected by his peers on Tuesday 8 October as President of the European institution for the period from 8 October 2024 to 6 October 2027. He has held this position since October 2015 (see EUROPE B11406A22). On the same day, German Thomas von Danwitz was elected Vice-President of the Court for similar period, succeeding Lars Bay Larsen of Denmark....
