September 2024 was second-warmest September ever registered in Europe, according to Copernicus

08/10/24 (Agence Europe)On Tuesday 8 October, the European Commission’s climate change observatory, Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), announced that September 2024 was the second-warmest September ever registered in Europe, with an average temperature 1.74°C above the 1991-2020 average.
