EU welcomes agreement on management of Central Bank of Libya

30/09/24 (Agence Europe) – On Saturday 28 September, the spokesman for the European External Action Service welcomed the agreement to resolve the dispute over the leadership of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), “under which the Libyan House of Representatives and the High State Council have established the mechanism, criteria and timeline for the appointment of a CBL Governor, Deputy Governor and Board of Directors”.
