EU AI Office launches work on its code of practice for AI models

The process of drawing up the first code of practice for general-purpose AI models kicked off on Monday 30 September, overseen by the EU AI Office.

Developed under the AI Act, this code of practice will be informed by contributions from nearly 1,000 participants (providers of general-purpose AI models, representatives of industry, civil society or academia, and independent experts), meeting at the first online plenary session.
